Volcano view from the balcony offers a stunning natural backdrop. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots, and pans for self-cooking. The property is located high on a ridge with quiet surroundings away from the highway. Friendly hosts provide helpful service reflecting local "pura vida" spirit. Many birds and sloths can be seen around the lodge area. A restaurant on site serves breakfast with volcano views for $8. Safe gated property includes friendly dogs and cool bungalows in the mountains.
Nice view of the volcano, lots of animals on site. Bungalows with big balcony and kitchen. Close to La Fortuna town, about 10 minutes drive. Staff friendly, helpful with tips and small repairs. Quiet at night, from 9 pm to 8 am. Parking available nearby. Restaurant on site serves tasty food every night. Felt safe as solo traveler female. Overall good experience, would recommend for nature lovers and animal fans.
