We found the location perfect for us, with the hotel close to downtown as well as all the excursions and parks. Breakfast was nice too, with the usual CR staple of rice, beans, and eggs that hits the spot to start the day. The views of Arenal are amazing, and sitting in the back in a rocking chair is very nice.
